Vintage Chinese Asian Baishi Carved Shrimp Fish Water Lily Jade Sculpture
This listing is for a gorgeous vintage Chinese / Asian Baishi style carved jade & stone underwater scene sculpture. It features 5 expertly carved shrimp with plastic legs & antennae, 2 fish, 4 water lily pad stalks, and one flower (bud) stalk. The pieces are all affixed to a horn shaped “shrimp trap” which sits on a green pedestal.
This piece is in vintage condition— please see photos for detail. Plastic shrimp legs have slight browning in some areas from how they were heated & bent to look like legs. Shrimp trap “cover” has some slight wear in the plastic. Otherwise impressive condition for its age and detail level!
