Vintage Brutalist Taper Candle Holder Peill & Putzler Glass Abstract MCM
Vintage glass taper candle holder or vase in a brutalist / geometrical / midcentury modern / abstract style. Similar ones are attributed to German makers Peill & Putzler, but it also gives a Blenko vibe to me.
Incredible geometric shape in heavy molded glass. Has an “ icy “ or “ rocky “ organic texture. Unusual MCM or modernist asymmetrical design that can be used as a very small bud vase or perhaps more realistically as a taper candle holder. Looks great simply as an accent / decor for a shelf! The wavy texture on the surface makes it look like a piece of ice!
Great condition, nothing scratched, chipped, broken or repaired. Some bubbles/inclusions inside from manufacture.
