Handmade from heavy wood, painted a lilac purple with metallic silver details that catch the light. Hand painted absurdist swirling scene of people, cats, chairs, fruit, storm clouds, tea cups, dessert plates, maybe even a cow?!
This is an absolutely one of a kind piece that would fit in well with whimsical absurdist 80s and 90s decor.
Seems to be inspired by surrealist and abstract artists / art like Magritte, Salvador Dali, Alice in Wonderland, etc.
Condition: this clock is in functional vintage used condition. The clock mechanism works, though the clock does have a fair amount of wear. Unclear if this is from when it was made. Some bumps / indents and scratches in the wood and paint.
