Great groovy 60s / 70s midcentury style! A really classic mcm owl look. Would make a great addition to an owl themed gallery wall, or add some eccentric charm to your retro bar. Great small size makes it easy to hang and style!
The Akron was a famous, eclectic Southern California-based chain of import and home decorating department stores. Established in 1947 in Hollywood by Bernard Field and Hyman Fink, the eccentric retailer grew to 24 locations before closing permanently in 1985.
Condition: in good used condition, with some minor signs of wear. Some possible loss to the clay, but not sure if it’s simply from the way the handmade pottery was finished.
