Near-spherical ashtray, translucent green marbled urea formaldehyde on a black Bakelite base base. From the top section three hinged cigarette rests can be folded outwards. The base is flat and is weighted inside so the ashtray can stand.

This is a rare hard to find art deco ashtray made as a promotional item for the Dunlop Rubber Company. Featuring a marbled green urea formaldehyde top stamped in red “DUNLOP” on a black bakelight base.
The base has some visible cracks/repairs while the green marbled top is in good condition. Arms fold out and the top unscrews from the base.
