This listing is for a vintage New Martinsville onyx black triangular vase. Likely from the early 1900s — likely from the 1920s or 1930s.
Would make a stunning piece of functional decor in an art deco or Hollywood Regency style home. A thoughtful housewarming gift or host / hostess present paired with a bouquet! Also would look beautiful as a piece of table decor in a black and white color themed wedding.
A beautiful heirloom bridal shower / wedding gift or wedding anniversary gift— glass is the modern gift for the 3rd wedding anniversary and the traditional gift for the 54th wedding anniversary.
Condition: in vintage used condition. In good condition for its age (possibly over 100 years old) with some minor flea bites along one edge, and possibly one flea bite on the base (see photos)— however some of these may have been from the vintage handmade glassmaking process (ie. demolding). Mold lines / swirls from the way the glass was heated, poured, and settled. Stunning as a decoration or fully functional as a vase!
