Vintage solid wood plant stand or side table created by the Brandt “Furniture of Character” company, from Hagerstown, Maryland. Original metal tag still attached. Likely from the early to mid 1900s. Brandt furniture company was open from the beginning of the 1900s to about the 1980s.
This beautiful warm-colored wooden stand has one scalloped oval shelf attached to a carved swirling center pole. Sits on 3 legs, tripod style. Can easily hold plant pots, books, lamps— any of your decor!
In used, vintage condition with wear commensurate with its age and function. The top has the most wear, as can be expected of a vintage plant stand. It could be refinished, but once you put your plant pots on it you won’t even notice! You could also cut a piece of fabric or drawer liner to cover it. As is, it has nice rustic charm! A few small “splits” in the wood on the edge of the top, but some of these may be from the way the wood was joined. A few bumps/scuffs to the feet and central pole, but overall presents nicely and is super functional!
