Vintage Mele brand earring holder / jewelry box, great for travel or for keeping your jewelry organized. Hard structured case with some padding in the top.
Perfect for travel or home use, it holds up to 36 pairs of earrings in the holes, and can hold even more in the indents. Orange felt-lined interior and a cream satiny backing.
Condition:: in used vintage condition, with some light wear to the pattern on the outside and the felt on the inside. Bottom has some light scratches, and the hinge is very slightly crooked on one side, but does not hinder use. Gently used but not abused!
Mele & Co. was founded in 1912 by Emidio Mele who came to America from Italy in hope of a better life. He landed in New York and began work as an apprentice, crafting designer jewelry display cases. In 1912, Emidio set out on his own and founded Mele & Co.
