This listing is for a Mele brand vintage locking jewelry box. It has a gold clasp on the front allowing it to be locked with the original key included. Discolored cream exterior with gold details, red velvety material on the inside drawers, and snowflake pattern on the inside top silky material.
When you open the top, the drawer automatically slides open! 3 tiers for tons of jewelry storage. Would make a beautiful anniversary gift to hold family heirloom jewelry!
Condition: the jewelry box is fully functional, opens easily, and includes the original key. The box itself is highly discolored from age — I’ve cleaned it, but it is still yellowed (originally a cream color, but yellowed with age). There are some stained spots, and some damaged spots in the outer material (see top for circular damage mark). Some discoloration marks on the inside from the way the hinges move. Some wear / marking on the inside fabrics & drawer lining.
